The finish looks much richer/deeper than other Thundergun pics suggested...same goes for the Blackwood Tek fretboard.

One of my biggest regrets is selling my old Thundergun.
Every time I recommend one, I think about mine...especially since I spent quite some time rolling the fretboard edges.

Yes, I had one a few years ago and foolishly sold it. I am close to having enough funds for a new one. Leaning towards the Medieval Red....or the Alpine green....or the Gunmetal.....lol. Tough decision!

At first, I wondered why they weren't coming out with some brighter colors, but I'd been considering buying a Ruby Red Metallic L2000 and hey, this color is quite similar...not to mention, I already have two L2000s.
Not 10 minutes after buying it on Reverb, I saw an article that the Democrats and Republicans reached a $900 billion stimulus deal...$600 or $700 per person...so if it's true and not just another story, that will cover over half the cost.
(Regardless, I bought it "play now, pay later" so either way and I'm good.

Looking for input on the Reverend lineup. I have been playing a late model Justice for a couple years and it's great. Nice range of tones and a really meaty low end. In my hands it almost begs for a pick; not a bad thing. It does alright finger style but a pick brings out something extra. Whether full bore or a muted groove...good stuff. I am wondering if there's another model that shines playing with fingers in the sweet spot, which is home for me.

The roasted maple, combined with the white pearl looks great with that color. IMHO

Yeah, those are really nice looking!

My only gripe (and I'm probably in the minority here)...I would have bought one as soon as they dropped (purple burst), but I really don't like the control plate...Make those knobs/switch rear mounted and I'm all over this thing.

Yeah I think the pearl pickguard really ties it together. I'm not normally a fan of roasted maple, but it works on this bass.

Dear Reverend Club players. I've never played a Reverend bass, but I like what I read and hear. I'm beginning to prefer passive basses and my favorite color is purple. A shop in DFW is selling this Mercalli fiver for $1,300, sans case/bag. Have you ever seen one with this finish? Pardon me if someone posted about this already.
