I do believe the Mercalli neck is a little wider than the Brad. I know its wider than a 5L. I have a 5L, but I've never even seen a Brad in person.

They look even better in person!
The BH5 neck is considerably wider than the R5L .... even wider than my Nordstrand VP5 basses' neck

I was thinking the same thing. My BH neck is W I D E. There may be wider necks out there but there can't be many.
Every single Reverend guitar and bass is setup and inspected by at least three different people here in the Toledo, Ohio warehouse. You know, guys, the string spacing is .75 inch/19mm. That's a fairly common wide spacing for basses, but still maybe the neck is wider than other basses with the same string spacing.
And then there's this 20th Anniversary Mercalli 5. Could get me over the fact that it's neither 35" scale nor made in the USA:

I sympathize with your sentiment I really do, but we are naive and antiquated to think this way...
I love mesa amps they are made here in the US, but really most of the components that go into them are made overseas. As are most of the components that go into a USA fender, and countless others.
I agree that is totally an antiquated point of view in our global economy. Good Design and Quality control here at the parent company (Reverend in this case) with Manufacturing hired out elsewhere (currently S. Korea). I don't understand why that would bother anyone... Reverend is not a "Manufacturer"... They are a design / sourcing / distribution company. They've done some manufacturing in the past... even outsourcing domestically I believe. It was evidently difficult to maintain that... I think that they currently have a good business model that is working for them. Their products are absolutely killing.. and I hope the company is doing well.
Mercalli 5, 20th Anniversary in Sky Blue ordered.
Strangely enough I'm also very excited about the reverend two tone case that I also ordered. They're good right?
