The Reverend Club (part 8)

I wonder what it is, but Rumblefish Reboot it is not. Rumblefish basses did not have a Tele plate and 3 way selector. Still I am intrigued as to what it could be. It looks like a logical conclusion for a jazz bass, 3 pickups. I wonder if this is a hollow body, or a new body shape. Can't give us any more than that teaser Chris?

The only new body shape is the signature model coming out....5 way selector.......On Reverends FB Live show today, one of the new models is seen hanging on the wall!

Interesting!

Like a mercalli with a j rail.

Might be brighter than a mercalli then. Could be cool!

Love that colour.

Looks like a party red justice behind it- with either a rosewood board or dark roast maple. That could be cool too.

The bridge pickup is further away from the bridge than the Mercalli

Just to keep the club ticking over:

I plugged a stingray 5 into my amp a few weeks ago and couldn't believe how far my tastes have shifted in the year Ive been playing my Mercalli.

The stingrays immense, piercing high mids and treble, and comparable lack of depth when set flat was shocking to me.

I guess I have gotten accustomed to the mercalli's Beautifully (fenderish) classic take on a p tone.

It stays in tune no matter what and each piece of hardware has functioned superbly.

The rear H is completely usable, and when I'm jamming on a song that requires some low-B work- I solo the rear H to deliver an amazingly tight sound.

While sometimes I've wondered if the H could use a touch more sizzle, I remember just how good it sounds now.

For those in the know, and can comment- how does the j-rail on the justice and decision compare to the rear H of the mercalli?

I will need a 4 string in 2019 and another reverend is in my sights!
