back/back middle/middle/middle front/front

The original design was 3 volume knobs, 1 tone knob. I said if we're going with this, it needs a kill switch, or a master volume. I was even trying to convince them with an on/off switch at each pickup, but no go.

I feel like the two combinatiins I'd probably want the most have been left out, front and back, and all three.

Of course I've yet to try it but...

For those interested in the Triad, this video was posted earlier today (along with the Wattplower and Raymond yesterday I think). While I appreciate finally getting to see and hear these videos, I'm not sure this does the best at showing off the tone and various sounds one can get out of the Triad. I thought the Raymond vid was more helpful. I'm hoping there's an incoming Decision vid too :)

A new 5 has been brought up, and agreed that it needs to be done. However, that will require creating a J-bomb 5 string pickup. So it might be awhile

I was impressed by it too and equally the Raymond. My local dealer has both in stock now in colours I would buy. Just need to sell my P bass and I'm good to go. But which do I add to my Merc 4? It sounds class!

The merc has so much refined beef that I would (and probably will) go for something more 'jazz-like', with the ability to get more top end spank. The Raymond has the same pickup moved towards the neck, so while its its own thing, there will be some tonal overlap with the merc.

I reckon you should go Truad IMO.
