Easily my favorite looking fish RacingBeat! I love the aged white/gold pickguard/maple board combo! It looks so smooth....
Racingbeat:
At first, I was really nervous about looks of the white/gold combination -- I bought mine from a fellow TBer, and the price was good, so I pulled the trigger. The pictures he took weren't very good (very dark) though, so I held my breath and made plans to get a tort pickguard made. I try to keep an open mind and not place too much weight on the appearance of a bass, and as a result, I've owned some of the most regularly aesthetically-despised basses on the TB forum (Bongo, Steinberger XL-2).
It looks fantastic in person. I have zero desire to change out the pickguard now. Mojo heaven. Yours is the same, except for the maple board. You're gonna LOVE that bass.
Nice snag, dude!!!

My good buddy jmb7183 came over today, and he's mad at me now...
He played my Reverend, and he now wants one...![]()

He had his chance when I was selling my sky blue 5L to finance the Lava Swirl. His loss!!![]()
Yeah, I'm sure he wanted it. Sometimes the money doesn't come through at the right time...
Luckily, my trade deal was good for me.
If you like that one, head over to the Reverend forum and the thread "The great Fishipedia". Check out JWalsh's green with black guard and a maple board. Awesome! and his purple 5L is pretty sweet too.
