Racingbeat:

At first, I was really nervous about looks of the white/gold combination -- I bought mine from a fellow TBer, and the price was good, so I pulled the trigger. The pictures he took weren't very good (very dark) though, so I held my breath and made plans to get a tort pickguard made. I try to keep an open mind and not place too much weight on the appearance of a bass, and as a result, I've owned some of the most regularly aesthetically-despised basses on the TB forum (Bongo, Steinberger XL-2).

It looks fantastic in person. I have zero desire to change out the pickguard now. Mojo heaven. Yours is the same, except for the maple board. You're gonna LOVE that bass.

Nice snag, dude!!!

This is the same way I felt about the red/gold. The pictures I saw were dark, and made it look wierd. But I went with it, and now I wouldn't change a thing!

After seeing all these fine pieces of art and machine, I want to catch a fish of my own. :bassist: I am in love with Templar's green Fish with the gold pickguard. They should have called it Saint Patrick instead of Reverend.

I really dig the red/gold combo as well.
BartmanPDX: I actually already really like the white/gold combo. I can't wait to see it in person!

My brother is an aspiring wedding photographers, so I'll have him take some real nice shots next time I see him.

If you like that one, head over to the Reverend forum and the thread "The great Fishipedia". Check out JWalsh's green with black guard and a maple board. Awesome! and his purple 5L is pretty sweet too.

The danger for me is getting sucked into all the cool colors. Right now I have two Reverends, but they are different models. If I start buying more because I like the color, I'm in REAL trouble.

I gotta admit though, the green one, and the purple 5L really speak to me.

As do the Bugeye chrome ones, and the Trevis' red one . . . :p

"On vehicle for delivery" Whew!
