I checked the measurements he pictured against my case. They are a little off, but I suppose that could be normal. Ask if he can show a pic with a Fender style bass laying in it.
A Fender bass won't fit in that case. I found this out when I got my latest Rumblefish, #90. It came in a case that was slightly smaller than my other two, and with black plush lining instead of red. In the black plush-lined case, the area that holds the body of the bass is smaller. My P-basses will fit in the red plush-lined cases, but not the black one.

I've had this gorgeous blue R5L # 37 Ser # 00736 since I bought it on ebay in nov 02. I've played it maybe a total of 5 hours and it's never left my house. I'm just not a 5 stringer. My 2- 4 string fish get all the playing. Net effect (pun intended), after posting on TB for years I just upgraded today, so watch the bass for sale area soon for this blue bombshell.:D

Here's the school:

Auction said "comes with gig bag," it wasn't a Rev bag:(

Yessir, I know it..but listen to me whine, I'm good at it:
"Awwww, pooooor me, me new fish ain't as swirl-tastic (tm) as I'd hoped....waaaaaah!"

Why don't one of you fools buy my L1K so's I can get another fish?

How would you compare the P/J Fish to the Lakland Skyline Duck Dunn or Glaub? And the J/J to the Skyline Darryl Jones? It looks like I might be waiting a while for a Fish and I need a new bass soon so one of these should hold me over. I haven't been able to get my hands on a Lakland, but I am guessing many of you have.

Yeah, I've played a P/J before. I loved the neck, which is why I would get a Lakland with the jazz tapered neck. The tone was great on the Fish, but I had just bought a new head and was unable to sell a keyboard I had to give me the cash I needed to pick up the Fish. If only I had known that they were going to discontinue them...
