FWIW, I think there were more Reverends there than any other make of bass except Fender.

People were pretty impressed with the Reverends.

Yeah, that's 4mal's baby. Niiiiiice bass. He put Aero P/J pickups in it, and the sound is phenomenal. His white XL 'fish is mighty nice, too.

I got Reverend GAS at out GTG yesterday so I bid up to $660 but could not afford to go any higher.

I watched that and I'm watching a few other non Reverends. I already have my Fuglyfish 5L and can't really justify another one. If one of the rare body versions came up, I might change my mind. I would much rather wait and spend my money on a nice 4 string.

Well it's about time I joined the club! I waited long enough and seeing that green fish go on the Bay was the last straw. I saw Mal's ad and hopped on it. It will go great with my white Lakland DPLEII.

If you're looking for something brighter and nastier, I'd go with the G&L 2500 or 1500.
