what's the gauge on the B?
I like the B that came on my 5L, think it's a 125. that's the heaviest I'll go.
The light guage LowRiders have a .120 B. The difference of .005 makes big difference.........at least for me

Low Riders, those are DR's right?
hmmmmm. I'm like Dave, I dig in pretty hard. KJung commented the first time he saw me play, "Wow! You have a really aggressive attack!" Loose might not be too good.
I bought a set of S.I.T.s to put on my 5L. I got home and put them on, and the B string was buzzin like crazy. Checked the truss rod, bridge, everything seemed all right. Then I noticed the wrapping.....Saturday morning and my brains not working right yet..... at the string tree end...where the wrapping becomes unlayered.. I can't for the life of me think of what's that called this morning...The first unwrapping was before the nut, right on the neck. Luckily, the store exchanged it for me. I like the SIT's but I'm thinking of trying some Drs next.
I'm going to sell my reverend 5L. How much is it going for now? 800-900?
Very nice. How was the gig?
Nice shot! Not helping my G.A.S. for a maple-board 'Fish at all.first show with the new band last night... representing the Reverend club
Yep, that's the one mentioned above..5L on Bassgear.com! Get yer bait in the water!
I had Fender 9050 flats on my gold-top P/J since I got it from Craig. Liked them well enough, tho LaBella 760FL's are my prefered flats-clear on top, big fat bass!
WEll, I tired of the Fenders, and slapped on a set of my prefered rounds-DA XL170's...
Holy Transformation Batman!
Matrok: KJ stopped by my house and spun thru my arsenal for a while...that dude has got *strong* chops! He lemme spin my DB thru his Walter Woods/Berg setup...Dang!
