Well, it ain't MarkBass, but I recently scored an older SWR Silverado 4x8, and loaded it with LDS long thorw 8's.
That thing whips it now...
Otherwise, combo world was reduced to a Mesa Walkabout Scout 12 for me long ago. Small, 300 biiig watts, great tone, nice wide range para eq, and it'll run another cab all night and never even get warm.
And it's small, which is kinda the point of a combo, really.
Aaaannnnd, the head pops right out for use with your big honkin' cabs too. It drives my Hnery 8x8, or Schro 410 real well.
Great DB amp too, oddly enuff, you wouldn't necessarily guess that.

I agree. That thing is bitchin'. The black pickguard and pickup covers really make it happen. I had a bugeye XL-4 with a white pickguard and pickup covers, and it didn't look anywhere near that good.
