i want to join the Reverend club. I'm trying to keep my eye out for a 5L. Anyone have one for sale?

There are so many people in line to buy a 5L at this point that there needs to be a "looking to buy a Reverend 5L" club. It's totally killing me that I bought two basses this month and now BartmanPDX is thinking of selling one of his Rev fivers. If he puts the Houser up I'm going to bawl.

I'm not sure -- I'm still on the fence, but I'd have to say that right now, the Tacoma will get put up for sale along with another bass, most likely the SR5. As cool as the SR looks, I have a much deeper emotional attachment to the Reverends, which I would miss dearly.

I am completely in love with fish these days, JJs especially. All I have now as electrics are Ritters and Fish!

Congrats, man! Nice score. The more I see white 'Fish with black pickguards, the more I think about getting a black pickguard for mine. Yesterday, I saw a picture in SPIN magazine of Billy Corgan playing a white Reverend guitar with a black pickguard, and today I saw your bass. Could be a sign..

+1. I'm having my own "issues" with regards to my bass collection right now, or I would have been ALL OVER that bugeye black JJ, even if it meant sleeping on the couch.

I was offered the black rockhide fish and just couldn't get into that finish. That's about the only one, though!

There's something to that, actually. I love 4mal's "safety orange" fish and the lime green one that was posted not long ago. Normally, I wouldn't dream of having a bass in those colors, but they just look perfect on a 'fish.

My Lava Swirl BH5 is pretty way-out-there, too, but I love it. I've seen pics of the Engine Tuned Aluminum finish, and like it, too, despite the fact that in normal circumstances, it's pretty garish. Reverends just seem to be able to pull off colors and finishes that would never work on another bass.

I'm with barroso on the fact that the only ones that haven't really done it for me are the faux wood.
