I'd like to join. I have a 1980 4001 autumn glo, pretty damn happy with it. beautiful condition (sorry, too lazy to take a picture) but only one of the stereo jacks works, the toggle doesn't switch over to the other pickup, and 2 of the tone controls don't work. anyone know of an easy way to fix it (can't see anything obvious when I open it up), or should I go to a specialist? I've soldered the P bass over and over but afraid to do anything to the ric
Cheaper on Amazon. Where I got mine.You need a long, thin walled 1/4" nut driver. They are available, you just need to check around. I believe Sears sells one.
The one RIC sells is made by Xcelite USA, L8 is the model.
