Mine just came in the other day. I love it! I used it for a gig in Cleveland last night and it growled like a maniac! I'm going to put one of the Pickguardian bridge pickup surrounds on it, though. That stock metal surround just cuts into my fingers when the pickup cover is off. Do I get a club member number?

Thanks to all the people on talk bass who suggested i save and buy a ric 4003 - I LOVE IT!

I bought mine earlier this year and I love playing it. There were only 2 problems;-not enough lows and the truss rods need replacing. I put a bartolini humbucker in the neck position and when you roll it back a little, it still sounds like a Rick. Tell me the details of your truss rod replacement. Also, does anyone know the details of a capacitor which allows more lows? I'll post pics later.

I always wanted a Blueburst, one day- i shall find one! For now, i'll stick with the Fireglo

Just tryed taking my the chrome pickup cober off my new 4003 - im in a real mess!!!

how do you get it off and then how back on

i have the two large screw s off either side and i am stuck here at the moment!
