The Song That Always Gets The Best Reaction

For me, last night proved once again that Shania Twain's "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" is the king for getting the ladies on the dance floor. Once the ladies are on the dance floor, the boys follow.
Depends on the crowd.
In the college bars and rock clubs, we had a medley that almost never failed to fill the dance floor. It was Hang on Sloopy--Wild Thing--Louie Louie. Worked great at weddings and corporate events too.
In the honky tonk's, we'd lean on our blue ribbon fiddle player. And it was always, without exception, The Orange Blossom Special.

All what I would consider "oldies", and they even went over with a young crowd. (And honestly, I really got tired of them... but we're paid to play.)
