No I bought that somewhere else but he did help me figure out where to hook it up at. Let me know and I can look it up I made diagrams of the install and where I bought parts.

I have had a really odd relationship with Ibanez basses the entire 28+ years I have been playing.
Long story short - please count me in the Ibanez Soundgear Club. I think it's years overdue and I don't see myself getting shed of this bass - it's as close to a perfect six-string bass for my hands and playing style as I have yet found.

I agree, my SR905 "prestige" is a perfect fit for my hands also!

I used a solid shaft 250k audio taper. I used a .047microfarad cap an orange drop to be exact.
for the tone- pin #1 on the tone connector, I will open mine up and take a pic to show orientation. Probably in a day or two.
For the coil tap I grabbed both red wires and put them on push/pull that way when I pull both are shorted to ground.
I believe that means Cort factory, but I could be mistaken. There are many Ibanez serial websites out there.

I never did get a price from Ibanez on the fretless 370M neck. I'll probably just call them today with the part number.
On the pickup front ... I have a pair of used Korean Bart Mk1s coming from another member that I'm going to install in one of my SRs for $hitzngiggles. I didn't care for the Mk1s when I tried the upper end Ibbys in the store, but I never had enough time to really dial them in with the amp. Thought I'd just try them with the stock pre amp and see how they sound thru the Peavey stack. The equal string volume on my 370 is my only issue with them. Absent that, I would play the stockers all day. I love them, since I play everything from George Jones to STP to Kiss to Bob Marley.

Just found out they are $360 US from Ibanez USA.
I bought my 370M as a factory second (bad finish on the edge around the electronics route in back where the plastic cover screws in), but brand new and with a warranty from the dealer for $299.
GC has them used at $300 from time to time. Wow ... $360 for a neck.

I need a new bridge for my 305. I am cringing at the fact I might have to sell a kidney to pay for it!!
Just a price for the bridge for my 305. $89.00 and a one month wait to get it in. Only good part is it should be warranty.
Does the newer 300' and 305's have a heavier bridge? I think they do but can't remember for sure

Oh yeah, love that! I'd probably replace the bridge pickup with the one from the ATK and that would get that gorgeous ATK sound with the slender form of the SR.
That would be sweet. I had an ATK and just loved the tone of that BOAT ANCHOR. The weight is why I never kept it, but tey have outstanding tone and a good feel. But I agree it would be a nice option for the SR line
Some good news for ya, Strat, they Premiums are light. Guess they got the message about the weight - Ibanez seems to be very alert to what players want.
