I always thought it'd be cool to put a Stingray pickup/pre in a SR with a Stringray-like pickguard, and call it the Soundray... or Stinggear, haven't decided yet
That seems like a lot of work and money, why not just look at the 1205e with stock Nordstrands? Especially if you're going to do routing for something you may not even like? Just a thought. Either way, nice 755. You're #51.the big singles are only slightly larger a small routing and a cover for the barts if it doesn't work out

Gotcha, I listened to the samples, sounds like something you will probably be able to get out of the Barts with the right EQ settings. Worth a shot trying.The sound samples I've heard on the website sound much closer to the tone I'm after than any Ibanez stock pickups.
New bass day! Got my SR3005 from GC today, needs a lot of work though. I'll post pics once she's cleaned up. Anyone have or know where I can get a saddle for the monorail bridge and the washers for the tuning machines?
