Yes but it all worked out in the end when the stuntman left the scene and they gave Kirk a plastic pipe with which to lightly hit Khan on the his back. See that's any super human's weakness: a plastic pipe to the upper back.

Don't forget about Shatner's phaser falling on the floor when he smashes Khan's hibernation cubicle and DeForest Kelly looks at the phaser on the floor like he's thinking "Are we actually going to use this footage?"

STTOS Space Seed
Mistake #1 - giving Kahn the superhuman complete access to the ship's schematics from his hospital bed in sick bay.
Mistake #2 - designing the Enterprise so that knock out gas only infiltrates meeting rooms, not hallways.
Mistake #3 - hiring a stunt double for Kirk that's 12" taller than him in both height and hairdo.
Part of its charm

I found it a light read..with some good stuff and character which connected me to the Agassi book I had just finished reading...which Blew my mind...and I am not a huge tennis fan

I believe the same message can be taken from both books...and very important messages

OK, so I have begun watching DS9 alongside TNG Season 6 on NetFlix.
I am alternating between the two series one episode at at time and the first thing I have noticed is that the quality of the "print" that NetFlix is using for DS9 is miserable next to TNG. Was DS9 filmed rather than taped? What gives? Maybe it's just me?

Yes..I find it unwatchable! Fuzzy and Hazy

DS9 was edited and finalized on videotape. I believe it was shot on film but converted to tape for special effects etc. Like the final mix.

TOS looks fantastic because it was done on film and the original camera elements were preserved very well. The restored TNG looks great due to application of modern digital technology.

I never cared for Enterprise. In fact I’d totally forgotten about it until seeing it in syndication recently.
TNG looks very dated to the time period it was taped, but is by and large decent but sterile. Loved seeing Denise Crosby getting it on with Data though :). The biggest umbrage I have with it is the over reliance on the holodeck, which by definition is a 16’ x16’ box or whatever. It would just be impossible to do the things they do in it.
DS9 is kinda meh. Voyager has its moments but Mrs. Colombo, oops Mulgrew is sterile.
What the original series did with almost no budget is amazing and still my favourite.
I remember seeing the original movie in a theatre. I thought it was rather long, dry, and boring but the sound in a theatre was awesome.
