We played with Indian once, at an ourdoor gig, and as they are playing, a giant, black storm cloud just starts rolling in above them. Stopped right above the stage as they were finished.

Not as epic as lightning arcing across the sky, but pretty fitting none the less haha.

Threw a condenser mic on the floor in front of the drums today and recorded our new set/ep/whatever for writing purposes. Unfortunately I recorded the first run through and not the second which was much better, with an ending to the no title song. Pay no attention to my mistakes as we literally finished writing these today! :D There are a few of them in there... ;)

Sounds badass man, really liking the new stuff. Especially like Stoneburner.

Funny enough we just did the exact same thing. Preparing for our studio session in about 2 weeks.

New album is tentatively titled "This Is Herman Nelson".

Great stuff! One-mic recordings are always my favorite. I'm glad to hear Wound Filler again. That was always my favorite.

For some reason I only got a few seconds of Sacred Grove. Did anyone else have this problem?

RE: this is herman nelson--how did you record that? turn up the rhythm section! You guys are good. Mix in more bass & drums!

Hell yeah, guys! Super sick. We went back and re-mixed and re-eq'd a few things & will hopefully have a mastered EP by the middle of June! Stoked & thanks for the feedback.

Good movie. Not sure how or why rics are such a big part of the scene though.
