All of my Sushi pedals have crosstalk on them. I only get a completely clear signal when I only have a single one in the chain. And even then, yes, I do get a little bit of noise or whine. I'm using a Joyo 2A daisy-chain power supply so that's very likely a big part of the reason (no ground pole on it). My HW UA and MORE will SQUEAL if I have them both on at the same time in the same chain. My Elementary is an offender too, but I don't use it as much.

Oh, and my Sashimi.... it sounds like it's trying to send radio signals into space when the sag is active...

thanks man I was just thinking this an only reason why I’m prob not gettitn even more noise is cause I’m only running the tuner>Ua> envelope filter. But I have been wondering if I should run it off a 1spot a would it be better.

I’m always paranoid about the tube in the pedal but I’m imagine no sound comes out if it’s blown?

I'd bet it's a power issue. Mine was really noisy when I ran it with its own brick or with my Walrus Aetos. I upgraded to a Friedman Power Grid 10 and it's whisper quiet now.

Yeah, that was my thinking, and the most power that most bricks will cover is 500mA.

There is a doubler cable that will let you use two power outlets, but my Voodoo manual says it only doubles the voltage, not the amperage. Salesperson at GC tried to tell me different. And even if it does double the amperage, still only going to get 500mA out of my power brick, still not enough. So I left GC with an extra One Spot in tow instead.

Rebuilding the board this week, going to tie the one spot up under the board. Have to run an extension cord anyway, powercord for the Voodoo isn't long enough to get back across a stage to an outlet either.

Funny how pedal boards are supposed to tidy things up, but then create more problems too :laugh:

If you're using a 250mA tap from a Voodoo supply, that is the cause of your noise. 250mA is not enough for a UA, per the website I recommend at least 400mA for my single-tube pedals like UA.

The Pedal Power X8 has all 500mA outputs, you're in the clear there. I typically recommend 600mA for dual tube pedals, but 500mA will often do the trick and just take a few extra seconds warming up.

Currently playing a few shows of little shop of horrors and I'm really enjoying how my bass sounds, yes it's indulgent and unnecessary having stereo outputs and a bunch of effects, but the detail in the sound is fantastic, I can hear the difference in tiny little tweaks of the two volume controls on my DJ4.
I've been singing the praises of the finally to anyone and everyone who'll listen, so hopefully there will be a few more purchases.

If I do, I'll have to do a lot more thorough planning for them. They sell fast and people like them, but they take longer to assemble, which cuts into the time I have to spend on other builds. I started falling behind with the Bassdudes then did Nobelium immediately afterward, and I haven't been able to keep up with regular restocking since.

I'm making time to fill backorders as they come in, and I've been pretty good about making sure nobody has to wait more then 2 weeks between ordering and shipping, but I think to really get a solid stock of pedals built back up I would have to shut down the shop for a month or so. Coincidentally that's something I've been thinking about doing anyway this summer so I can get the shop organized and finally get through my non-pedal to-do list.

That plan is certainly easy for us to understand and support, don't stress out too much or get burned out. IMHO your diligence to your customers as well as your constant innovation are greatly appreciated and I look forward to the Sushi Box FX line continuing to improve and develop new products.

Are you getting to play an amp for your production? Or this is ampless?

The most important thing in life is your health and your family's health (mental and physical) and happiness, they should always come first.
You should always plan for fun times for you and yours or else your work will slow and go to poopie even if you spend all your waking hours working.
A happy person can work a lot faster then a tired and grumpy one, the more time you put aside for rest and recovery the better the workflow becomes. You should make sure you close shop for holidays every year.

EDIT: I had no idea the forum will change words in posts, I wrote sh*t and it got changed to poopie
