The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

I have the Slampegg, Fliptop and SV-Pre. The Slampegg wins for straight-up tone hands down! The Fliptop sounds better than the SV-Pre as well. I used to use the SV-Pre as an always on pre but the Slampegg has taken that job.
Thanks so much. I got a wild hair and added my name to the list for an X-Slampegg... so we'll see. You, and everyone else here, make me want to try the fliptop now... damnit.

Well I have some mild bad news. I don't know if the issue is with the printer or the file, but the bee image on the Slampegg X has been printing really pixelated. It only did it on three pedals because I stopped after that until I could figure out what was wrong. I still don't know why it was doing it, but I figured out a way around it so I can move on. I was going to just keep the three that were done as-is (@kranahan and @FenderP were both affected) because it's not terrible from a distance, but the more I look at it the more I hate it. So I'm going to sand the top off the affected pedals and re-coat them so I can fix the print. This isn't a huge deal, the finished pedals won't look any different, but it's an extra couple hours of work. It's looking less likely that the december batch are going to be done before christmas, but I'll still see how much I can get done, and worst case I'll try to get everything done over the weekend and shipped out next monday.

As usual @Sonicblaze helped me figure out what I was doing wrong, so I'm going to re-export all of my print files to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Question: do you want to see pictures of prints as they come out, or do you want to wait until pedals are finished to get more of a surprise?

What does this mean? Are the designs on the pedals changing?
The designs themselves aren't changing, just the way they're applied. Previously they have been laser engraved on, starting this month they will be UV printed.

That is extremely cool.
Yes, I want it.
Don’t you ever sleep?
I could get a lot more done if I didn't have to, but 6-7 hours/night on weeknights, 8-10 hours/night on weekends

Is there a way to see the candy purple and the violet sparkle side by side? I cant decide wich one looks cooler and its hard to see the difference just on the color swatch examples.
Sure thing. They're actually a really similar shade of purple, just one is translucent and the other is sparkly.

Oh my that looks awesome! thanks for the pic man. I ordered the candy purple initially but after seeing that side by side pic I think I'm gonna change that to the violet sparkle.

Not a problem, I'll get it changed over for you. I feel like the candy finishes are still really cool, but I think the sparkle finished have more "wow factor."
