Well I thought SBVT II was ready, but I decided last night I want to make one more tweak. It sounds so good, and I'm 95% happy with it, but the tone is good enough that it's going to be worth the wait for that extra 5%.

It looks like Grand Slampegg is going to be the next new release.

I only see good news.

Do you run the More and Spaceheater into the HX?
The Space Heater is first in the chain and goes straight into the Stomp, this alone takes the stomp to much higher level.

The More is place in one of the Stomp's effects loops (feeding into a Thumpinator) so that i can place it last in the chain.

My original intention was to use one or the other to sweet up the Stomp's tone, but when I was ABing them, the Y option just sounded killer!

In fact the SH & More together is so good, I'dd happily gig with just those two and an EQ (but I'm not gonna!)

Always down to wait for improvements!

How does it sound running it into an amp head? I’m sure the DI is going to sound amazing, but I’m a little concerned about running it into the front of my WD800

Of course, there’s always the FX return!

Hi Nathan,
I apologize if this is a repeated question, but will the SBVT II be foot switchable? If so, I will start saving in advance for its release.
B.
It will not be footswitchable. There will be toggle switches for 1/4" output source (preamp/bypass) and XLR output source (preamp/bypass), but no footswitch.

If only that was a film clip with a sound demo instead of a picture.
I have a hard enough time getting motivation to make videos of my own pedals, I'm certainly not taking the time to make a video to showcase someone else's pedal :bassist:

If you were to ever update Venus Z, a toggle switch for the 1/4” would be a great addition. I would also leave the 1/4” parallel output. It’s a great way to add a tuner or split your signal.

Have you been peeking at my notes? That is exactly what I thought as I was planning the revision.

You know what they say about great minds …
Anyone done with their Venus z yet?
Trade dibs.
Not until the next version of Venus Z is available (depending on if the feature set make upgrading worthwhile).
