I'd like another SushiBox pedal for my home board but don't need a DI, HPF. What I would love is something with a low-mid and a high-mid. Is there any substantial saving to not having the extras, or should I just watch for a used PMLE?

PMLE and Venus Z are the only pedals I have ever made with a 4-band EQ, and they are the exact same preamp.
Alright then, if anyone decides the PMLE isn't for them, hit me up!
I’m extremely pleased with the Venus Z characteristics; except the signal inversion is complicating some of my routing options.
The primary issue I’ve run into is that for whatever reason the QSC 10.2 I’m running as a stage monitor has some quirks in it’s circuit; notably the CH2 gain drops off considerably when a supposed through cable is inserted. That’s on QSC.
I was getting around that issue on the gig by sending the Sadowsky preamp DI to the QSC ahead of the Venus Z; and DI from the Venus Z to the board. But, those two signals are out of phase. I’m going to try a Y cable from the Venus Z to send the same feed to both monitor and board;’ but, that seems a bit of a kluge.
Any chance the Venus Z could be updated with a coherent output in a future rev? That would seem to provide more flexible routing options.
Does this mean Per my last email output was in phase with the input being only one tube??
You could make a special XLR cable to connect the DI from the Venus Z to the board. Just swap the wires on pins 2 and 3 at one end to reverse the phase. If you buy a very short cable to make into an adapter, you'll always know which one it is; or you could just do this to a long cable and mark it.

Truth be told, I’m now somewhat spoiled by the Venus Z send to my monitor.
IF the pin swap you recommended accomplished the inversion, I could easily do that on the short cable between the Sadowsky and the K10.2. But, I thought those two pins were for neutral and signal? Not clear to me that swapping pins would cause the temporal signal shift?
Anyhow, I’m hoping the Y cable does th trick. Get to have my cake and eat it too.
FWIW, I’m pretty sure Saturnworks sells a phase inverting mini pedal.
Edit: On second thought, why not just stick a JC Emerald in front of your Venus Z? Problem solved!

Venus Z also only has one tube. It's literally the exact same preamp.
Pin 1 is signal ground. Pins 2 and 3 carry a balanced signal. When one goes positive, the other goes negative the same amount. It's not a "temporal" signal shift, it's just a polarity inversion. Swapping the wires on 2 and 3 at one end of the cable inverts it, reversing the inversion in the pedal.
I'm sure you can buy an adapter that does the same thing, but if you already have the cable and a soldering iron.... Of course, I won't discourage you from buying a More (which also inverts the signal) instead to put in front of your pedal to compensate
Be careful of the phase inverters, they can cause a temporal rift in the space time continuum and send you back to a wacky point in history like San Francisco in the 1980s or Los Angeles in the 1990s. Make sure your phasers are set to the deepest resonance and don't forget to modulate the frequencies if the effect wears off.
You can also get adapters that can be switched for phase, these are ones available over here, but for about £10 there's likely to be plenty of others, although I vote get a More...

I work from home and my home office is upstairs overlooking the street. The sound of our UPS drivers truck is unmistakable, so I know when he’s stopped out front. Earlier today I heard his truck, so I stood up to look out the window - I was expecting a package. Sure enough, he exits the truck, box in hand with this unmistakable tape on it.
As he’s walking across the street I see him pause, look at the tape, then put the box to his face and sniff it. Then he shrugged his shoulders and finished crossing the street.
And because I know the rules, here’s what was inside the box. Super excited to try this out!
