I appreciate you looking out for me on my More when it wasn't expected of you.

You know there's quite a few bad actors in the boutique world when it comes to pedals, pickups, amps, cabs, basses, etc... So it was refreshing for me to run across someone who makes a great product and stands behind it when others wouldn't have.

You went above and beyond for me on my More and I haven't forgotten it. That's also part of the reason I ordered the Single Slice. I wanted a tube compressor, but I also knew I was getting a great product by someone who takes pride in their work and stands behind it.

Thank you for this comment, this helped me narrow down the problem.

I started running bass>SS> Broughton P15 preamp = no noise
Then I started adding back the other pedals one by one, and again no noise occurred. I then ran the whole board with 1/4 out from the Finally into the P15 = no noise.

Untill I flipped the HPF switch back on. Noise.

So the culprit seems to be some weird interaction between the SS and the HPF on the Finally v3. I’m sure many others here run a SS somewhere in front of the Finally, do any of you experience the same problem when HPF is engaged? It doesn’t seem to matter in what position the freq knob is, purely the on/off flip switch causes the noise.

The Watt is literally those two pedals in one so it's unlikely there's an inherent incompatibility with them

Conspiracy to Commit Electronics is a "does business as" (DBA) organization under Sushi Box FX LLC, so yes it is very affiliated. The original intention was that Conspiracy to Commit Electronics would be run by a friend of mine, and I would largely keep their operations separate, but it didn't really work out, and now I'm running both.

The tricky thing with Conspiracy to Commit Electronics is that it originally started as just a circuit board supplier for DIY builders, which is where the board that was in the goop-filled Nobelium came from. It's a fairly recent development that Conspiracy to Commit Electronics started offering fully-assembled pedals for people who want the pedal but don't want to have to build it. If you purchase a fully-assembled Conspiracy to Commit Electronics pedal, it will always be matte black, it will always have the Conspiracy to Commit Electronics logo in the lower right corner, it will never have a faceplate, and the circuit board will be a mix of SMD and through-hole components.

If the pedal was built by Conspiracy to Commit Electronics then it was still built by me, and it is covered by the same lifetime guarantee. Bought it 5 years ago? Doesn't matter, I'll fix it. Bought it used? I'll fix it. Dropped it from a moving vehicle? I'll take lots of pictures, but I'll fix it. Nothing lasts forever, but I don't design my stuff to break down, so I feel like it's on me to take care of it if something goes wrong.

The difference is that in The Watt I keep the HPF at the front before the compressor, whereas running the pedals separately puts the HPF between the compressor and the preamp. I'm thinking there may be something there, and I told Tom I'd do some testing at home (I obviously have both pedals) and see if I can figure out what's going on.

There is an inherent risk in buying home-brew: some home-brewers can back their builds, but some are not in a position to do so [it is home-brew after all ! ].

The Sushi Master is a pro and I hate to see any risk to his stellar and well deserved reputation.
So I would humbly suggest that C2CE home-brew Nobelium builders, like myself, could/should sign their work somehow if they plan to sell them. I will never sell my Bassdude build [pictured] because I can't guarantee how safe it is to service because of my mods inside.

To get back on thread, I'm still in love with my finally v.3 and Tarantula Fuzz 😍
I run both a Cioks Sol and a Cioks DC7 underneath to run this many tubes... I may have "tube" issues.

Shhhh... *** I snuck some T-Fuzz into a song at church two Sunday's back *** 😎 😉 Sounds great!

I just got a Finally v.3 after selling one of Nathan's limited edition Nobelium builds because it was absolute overkill for my needs, and I gotta say, I am very impressed with the Finally. Has its own flavor, and just sounds rich and fat at the end of my chain. I just like the form factor and basic simplicity of it. The Nobelium was GREAT, but felt just too fancy for my needs. I am addicted to these pedals.

Is that red pedal a C2CE Particle Accelerator ?
I'm not a church goer but if you are slapping in some Tarantula Fuzz when you have finished your sermon I might just have to drop in if I'm ever over your way.

Well the pedal is still up on the site. So earlier today I went over the store manager's head and called corporate. They said they would escalate a ticket on it to get it taken down. We'll see.

Come Monday afternoon if it's still there, I have one more "in" at GC I can go to if I have to.

I just got off the phone with the store. I let them know that I am the owner of Sushi Box FX and this is not a Sushi Box product. He said he would let his manager know, so we'll see what happens.

First rehearsal with the Single Slice in my chain last night. Low volume, didn’t use in-ears. Immediately noticed additional fatness and punch, particularly on open E to low G. Tweaked settings for the first hour and so far, Sens at 9-10 o’clock, Comp around 1 o’clock and blend straight up noon are sounding good! Looking forward to full volume rehearsal next week with IEMs.
