"That tube sound" is about as nonspecific as one can get, LOL. My recommendation is the Underground Accelerator. You can set it with any bass/ rig anywhere between clean through mild harmonic tubey overtones through frank overdrive. No matter what "that tube sound" means to you, it's in this little box. More is simpler, but can only give you a rather subtle clean tube sheen. The UA can do that and much, much more. Elementary is my 2nd choice, but since its response is never flat, it's less of a sure thing IMO. Greenhouse is physically larger and more suited to running other pedals in its own loop.
The default sushi is the Underground Accelerator. It's so versatile with the tone stack toggle, love it as a proper preamp, cleanish boost, or a true overdrive.
I bought a Finally v3 in order to have that tube sound in any situation, on stage and plugged in direct. That tube sound to me means being able to add grit so I wanted a pedal that can get dirty. The HPF is a godsend too, so this is the perfect tube preamp and DI for me. I have enough EQ knobs on my amp when I'm on stage and in the studio I don't use EQ for tracking.
My favorite is the Neptunium. Has an EQ and HPF if needed. So good!
Another vote for the Underground Accelerator especially in the current revision. Sounds great on guitar, bass and with my EUB. You can vary the saturation and response with different tubes, very musical tone section that can be bypassed, plenty of output for any use. I have an OG, one of the revisions (hand wired/tone bypass) and often consider getting one of the newer versions.

Is the More V2 the same as the most recent More, just with the switch.
I know you changed something to get a better low end response in the recent versions compared to the original.
Shall we say the 4 slot version be the 5 slot version (tube viewing ports).

More v2 is the same circuit as the most recent revision of More v1 with the addition of a bass cut switch (and obviously aesthetics). I increased the size of the cathode bypass capacitors on the most recent version of More v1 which improves the low end response.

havnjero: There are some circuit differences between them. Nathan explained this about Status Meeting a while back:

The first stage is similar, but yeah Status Meeting has a cathodyne phase inverter like in the Tungsten preamp instead of the DC-coupled cathode follower in the Steddi Go.

I missed most of February in the Secret Society, so I didn't know that the the name Slampegg was also targeted by the copyright lawyers. I saw that by visiting the SBFX website. "Oh no, not the Grand Slampegg too!" (I knew about the SBVTII.)
I looked at Wikipedia and noted this: "The genus name Apis is Latin for 'bee' ". Could "apis" somehow be changed up and turned into the new name of the former Grand Slampegg?

I still haven't completely decided what the future will hold for the now [redacted b]. Part of me feels like this is the excuse I need to clear out existing stock at a discount and do a drastic redesign of both this and [redacted ii]. I don't know exactly what I would change, but I'm constantly haunted by the thought that I could always be doing bigger and better things with my designs.
That part of me also whispers "while you're at it, why don't you clear out everything and redesign your entire lineup???" That's the part of me largely responsible for not getting enough sleep.
the only thing that i personally miss about the [redacted b] versus the original slampegg is the ability to dial in grit/overdrive. i know sticking in a gain knob would be pushing it beyond the limit of what could fit in that box, but other than that it's a brilliant preamp IMO. i'm sure others would like to see a variable HPF on it, etc. just food for thought of course.
Because some things have evolved to perfection and will always be good sellers?
I'm thinking specifically of Underground Accelerator - it does what it does very well, and is perfect for someone's first taste of Sushi.
More v2 might be at that point too - I have a late v1, no need for the bass cut feature, and it really does provide that hard-to-define "just a little more" - plus it can drive a power amp directly.
So keep making those - sheesh, I bet your kids could crank 'em out in their sleep by now
- and use that easy money to finance some of your innovative new designs 
I agree with rickdog, Change/evolution is good, but don't throw babies out with the bathwater unless they are no longer selling..
My only opinion on the current lineup is that with a new "More" version out now, "Less" would make a timely name for an April Fool's release.
