Oh man, this is so unexpected! So first of all I'd like to thank all the guitarists for largely ignoring me so I could figure out that bass preamps is what the world really needs.

But seriously, thanks for buying pedals you guys, I literally couldn't do this without you. My wife only lets me spend money on pedal building when I'm making money selling pedals, so this has been the most I've ever been able to invest into it because of how much people are enjoying them :D

I’m looking forward to what you think. Hopefully it doesn’t end up on your pedal shelf.
Well, inevitably it will, since I have nowhere else to store pedals when they're not in use. But don't take it personally @Sushi Box FX, it's in good company. To be honest, my shelf was becoming a little mono-Bromatic, if you catch my drift.

I will try to get it plugged in tonight. Right now it needs to come up to room temp before I even think about plugging it in. Plus, you know... I should be working at my day job... I guess.

Dig. Can't wait to get mine... What finish is that? Looks great.

Whatever the normal orange option is. I believe it is now the standard colour for the LU.
So that's actually "Candy Orange," the new one is "Illusion Orange" which is more opaque and sparkly.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but from my understanding the LU has a Fender-style tone stack, thus "flat" frequency response would be 2-10-2 'ish on the dial?
You are correct. I look forward to hearing what you think, and I take no offense at all to something winding up on a pedal shelf. I'll have to show off my pedal shelf when I finally get it organized :P

So my latest circuit board order just showed up and it was a big one, so you probably won't hear from me for the rest of the night. But when you do hear from me next, make sure you ask about:

- Dr. Wattson X
- Westinghouse
- Unnamed simple dirt/preamp pedal
- Gondwana phase 2

Can I ask now?

I mean if you want, the only thing I can really tell you so far is that Gondwana phase 2 is getting pushed back because the idiot in our ordering department (me) forgot to order a couple important parts (the freaking processor) for the build. Everything else has been unwrapped but nothing is assembled yet.

I've handled a LOT of circuit boards in my life (this order contained my 93-102nd designs from this company), but the novelty never wears off. Every time I get new boards I have to unwrap them so I can spend a couple minutes staring at them and whisper "coooooool" to myself.
