The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Welcome to the club! I have a regular PA and love it, think you'll be happy with the PAX! And it not, they sell pretty quick so you can try a different one :bassist:

Jumping in with both feet, I've got a SlampeggX coming in the March batch.

I might decide to let one of the 2 go at some point, but I doubt it.

Any initial thoughts on the Slampegg Twin yet?
Unfortunately Senor Sushi made a huge oversight in the design of the Slampegg Twin :( The two inputs to one output mixed passively isn't working because the two tonestacks are interfering with each other. It's on its way back to me so I can put it to independent inputs and independent outputs, it should be here tomorrow.

I've just got to say that I've fallen in love with the Ultra Hi switch on my Slampegg. I though I was happy with the switches all off.....but once I kicked that thing on this weekend - just bliss! I even had brand new strings - wasn't too bright or brittle - just made everything pop. Best tone I can ever remember having (sound man and guitarists agreed).

I swear, you guys are going to make me cry one of these days :P I'm held back from being a rockstar by a shortage of talent, so it makes me happy that I can still be a part of bringing music to people, just a little different than 10 year-old-me originally imagined :)

So the Slampegg can't?
I mean it depends on the input sensitivity of the power amp, but Slampegg is definitely a weaker output compared to the others. If your power amp can take a direct input then Slampegg could handle it as it pushes above unity. Sunnday Drive is a little higher, but PA, LU, and DrW punch HARD on the output.

I'll be testing it once I get the Slampegg Twin back since that's my intended use. I have a feeling it'll drive the Baby Sumo just fine.

What is the Slampegg Twin?
It was a one-off custom Slampegg with a mini and X in the same enclosure.
Somewhere else these were posted, but here they are again
