If you manage to tame the volume, while keeping the richness of the tone, I'll get another one... I'll test it out of the home studio and at full volume in rehearsal this Friday, but so far, I find it amazing. I'll try attenuators but I'm afraid they may dampen the openness (hmmm Studio Boost might be worth a shot).

For the time being, with no gigging happening anyway, I'm pretty flexible with how I patch things in my home studio. But for live I imagine it'd be nice to have it at least in range of unity.

Sure thing, I'm trying to figure out a convenient way to add it in to future builds while still making it easy to retrofit it onto existing ones.

Obviously if you're fine with the high output no need to add it in, but if it's blowing everything away and you can't control it, I can mod it.

I bounce back and forth between the two threads so much that I didn’t even realize where I was. But I don’t judge mentioning other brands at all. I only found out about Sushi Box when the topic came up in the Broughton thread. There’s a lot of cross pollination with aficionados of both so It’s all good.

As an aside, I really like the Aclam board. No velcro. Easy to set up.

This thread is less sensitive than the other about talking about another brand's pedals. Just sayin'

I have one on the way as well, if for what ever reason it is too loud, what would be the best thing YOU could suggest to put on the back end/front, without effecting the quality of the tone?

I might be in the same boat as you, what's the comment about Studio Boost? use the Level to attenuate before/after the Wattson?

I'll try to use the SB passive volume after. Before I don't think would work - potentially more loss of tone and I want to have some gain on the Dr Wattson. Test Friday. At worst I'll turn the amp down :confused:

If that helps Nate also recommended a A100k volume pot (that was based on options available on saturnworks volume pedals)

As above, a passive volume pedal afterward should be good for bringing the level down without affecting tone. If you're into hacking things apart you can lift pin 3 of the volume pot and solder a 250k resistor between the pad and the pin, that should effectively cut the output level in half. That's probably what I'll play with doing. The other option is a resistor divider on the output after the volume pot (effectively what the volume pedal is doing). Either one works, they should both be about the same.
