I have a PA X coming this month along with two 2020s’s so I could let you know
Which transformer? I've seen the lightning boy ones running around and thought about grabbing one to try.
The 2020s is just a transformer to add color. There are mixed results about how much they actually do in your chain. Not sure if that answers your question

You didn't ask me, but I have tried PA + LBA; My report of the 2020 and the 2020S is I opened them to make sure there was actually something inside it and not just a heavy rock. No, I am not just making a joke here, I really did.
I had mine after a regular PA and didn't feel/hear a reason to keep them in my chain, so I didn't. Some swear by them, I had more signal change between cheap/good cables than I did from the LBA's. That said, I'm glad I tried them for myself and learned they were not for me.
And it sure could have been something else in my chain that negated them; pickups, helix, countryman 85 / radial jdi, thumpinator, etc.

Finally put my Slampegg to work on the slim pedalboard in a 6-piece ensemble tonight. And I felt like a shaging rock star the whole time.
I ran it with the 6-string Ibanez with Nordy Big Singles, and then with my 50s Classic P with stock pups & GHS light Precision rounds. And it gave me so many sonic options, cranked up, that I felt like I could use a bass with NO knobs and still handle a freelance cover band gig with ease.
Phew... I love my Particle Accelerator, but man. The Slampegg Ultra Low switch gave me instant filtered deep RnB bass that sat fat in the mix with no other adjustments. And in all settings, the TONE. It was like playing an instrument WITH my bass, an expressive EQ & saturation machine. I even ran a Pickle Pie B fuzz thru it, and it made it have extra depth on the snarlier settings.
This is the pedal of life right here

Is it a go for March? What’s the voltage and power draw? Does it have the same high output issue and will it come with the mod/fix? Do we get a sneak peek? How awesome is it on a scale of 1-10

It can take 9V or 12V, I'll get current numbers soon. It does have the same output volume issue and will come with the same mod for now until I order more boards for it, at which point it will be be designed into the board.On a scale of 1-10 it's at least a 12.

Really digging the Dr. Wattson. It’s definitely a keeper. Might have to order an x version.
Cts locomotive-> Wattson-> rfe -> twonotes cab sim m is a lot of fun. Mixing the sunray in parallel with that is also fun.
It’s also good at driving other pedals

Should I book a Deep Dish? I don't need anything and I have compression under control already but I am really tired of the pandemic lifestyle and wouldn't mind trying one. So, yeah, should I?
Haven’t heard of the locomotive till now. Any idea what voltage/current the tube is running at in it? Sounds interesting regardless

OK. Qualifier, I am waiting for Slampegg X to land in my box but I am totally confused about the updated slots from a couple months ago. I might pull the trigger or I might wait until the other one arrives for no good reason.

No idea. I’m surprised so many people have never heard of it. I’ve been wanting to try one for a couple years and came across a great deal on reverb finally so I had to try it. I’m digging it. I need to play it through my amp soon.
