:) Just joking around. Winter weather has been crazy everywhere this year except here, where it's been actually pretty mild (for Winnipeg). We had a few weeks of really cold temps, which is right when my Dr Wattson showed up. It hurt to touch the metal when I took it out of the box. :)

I received her on Friday but haven’t had a chance to play with her until today due to work commitments. Worth the wait! I’m happy. I already modded her, swapping out the knobs for this set. Now I anxiously wait for my Space Heater!

After about three songs at the country gig last night, both the singer and lead guitarist looked my way and said, "You're hired"

I think it was the pedalboard. Slampegg at the end, just rolled the highs down more and had a balanced tone that sounded good in our in-ears (coming direct/line from my Quilter). I forgot to even try flipping any switches :D

Was able to spend some quality time with my amp today, along with my Particle Accelerator, Slampegg, and an SV-PRE.

To my surprise, the PA emerged as my favorite so far. They are all good, fantastic in fact. I was able to get them all to where someone who didn't know what to listen for would not be able to pick out a difference. But the PA had a deeper, more solid bottom and thanks to the mids control the mids really stood out. I'm not looking for a ton of gain from any of them, but when the gain is turned up the SV-PRE gets kinda 'solid state' sounding while the PA and Pegg have a rounder, smoother grit to them.

Tbh, I don’t use the SV-Pre for dirt. I run it clean (master dimed, set V with the gain) low switch to the left, mids way up around 7-800 hz. Then make the Pegg’s eq fairly neutral and get some hair where you want it and then send Peggy into the SV-Pre. It’s good.
