Seriously, this is why you haven't seen any more pics of March updates. My workshop is a corner of our unfinished basement, and it would be a lot easier to organize it and keep unsupervised kids out of it if I had some walls. My dad, a retired electrical engineer (I'm a 3rd generation EE) and general good-at-everything guy, is in town visiting so he offered to help me do some framing and drywall.
I am still planning to get March orders done by the end of the month, but this has been on my to-do list since we moved in so I wanted to spend a few days on it.

True, it also means every shelf I mount on the wall is going to have things rolling off and falling out the back. I must be missing something.

My band has its first gig (since me joining) this weekend, thinking about raffling off a pedal to encourage people to show up
That sounded too grumpy. I should have added that I am much more excited by the Black Eye X that I have yet to even order.
I already have an Edison that I like and will keep, so I see the Westinghouse coming next month as another Edison with some added tonal nuance. I'll probably put this one on my guitar board, but it will have to displace the Particle Accelerator that's already there.
Clean! A clean shop is a happy shop. Even if you won't see the clean inside the walls.

Hey gang -- Slow Wednesday on TB and at work. Got me thinking about my incoming Westinghouse and the old pedal order conundrum. Not sure if anyone who has an Edison or incoming Westinghouse has any thoughts? Just thinking out loud here. I know experimentation is the key and I plan to do that but...
On the Edison sound clips posted in this thread awhile back, I definitely preferred the Edison before most other effects. So, I'm thinking Westinghouse early in the chain. I usually run my comp early for light comp/tone shaping, not heavy limiting. Not sure if I want to have the Westinghouse and Comp both early? If so do i want to go Comp>West or West>Comp. Or maybe move the comp downstream to after dirt and before modulation and/or before preamp pedals. Or, after the pre's right before the cabsim (come on Gondwana!!)?
Again, I know I just need to try it out but i didn't know if anyone else had any thoughts or maybe some folks with an Edison might have some input or advice?

Looking forward to the Westinghouse. May spots going fast! 14......when it comes to making a DI, you could use a LB transformer, a Space Heater or Edison tube circuit, and a switchable analog cab sim like the Palmer Junction. That would be a nice feature set.
