The London underground is amazing. Adds some very nice tube grit and growl. At least my perception of tube anyway, having only used hybrid amps. Most musical dirt I've used. Makes we want an AD200. There may be a Terror Bass in my near future and I bet this would pair perfectly.

Love mine too… I want to get a LUX in the future as well. Awesome pedal!

Let’s not even get into this. People can list pedals for sale for whatever price they like. When you’re looking at a months long build queue, plus shipping costs, listing used gear for sale at close to new prices isn’t that outrageous.

So I'm trying to make a decision about knobs. Currently I get them from a distributor in the US. His prices aren't great, but more importantly he has trouble keeping stock so I sometimes have trouble getting enough of the colors I need every month.

Well in searching the interwebs I found his supplier in China, so I could start buying them direct, but they have a minimum order quantity of 500 per color, so the only way I could afford to make an order would be to limit the colors of knobs available. Hands down the most popular knob color requested has been black, followed closely by silver. I know the other colors are super cool (red and blue are my favorites), but last week when I went to place my order the US distributor was sold out of red and blue anyway (I'm hoping he will get more stock before the end of the month so I don't have to ask people to change), so I'm thinking this may be a good move if for no other reason than to have consistency in stock.

Order a bunch of black and silver as standard colors, then maybe do colors as special add-ons. Since youll be ordering a ton of black and silver, you won't need to buy them again for another few months. Next month, order blue. Next red, etc. You'll eventually have a backlog of your least popular colors since one order is probably a year or more of stock.

Strymon lost their supply of cream knobs for their flint pedal. So, they came out with their "black knob special edition". It's just the exact same pedal that but had black knobs because that's what they could get. No one had a problem, and they were honest about their perceived setback. Maybe a model worth following.

I don’t think anybody is going to cry foul if you mark a certain colour of knob as “Sold Out” on the website. Order more when you can get more, and people will make do with Black until then.

This is what I was going to suggest. Makes it easier on you. Plus that way, we can have 5 different color knobs on one pedal if we want!

Can't you just buy silver and use a colored clear powder coat? is there already something on them, maybe strip or order "bare"?

I have a Sunday Driver in the May batch.Really makes little difference to me what color knobs I get.

Can't you just buy silver and use a colored clear powder coat? is there already something on them, maybe strip or order "bare"?

I actually used to do that, but it was a lot of setup work for results that literally cost $5.

Gotcha, only if titanium knobs were cheap, anodizing is super quick with that metal

So this is obnoxious on bass, v0 prototype of Wrecking Ball X. It works, but I designed it to have all the options and the kitchen sink and most of them are super subtle, so for v1 which will actually get released I'm going to lose all of the toggle switches. So I have Ambassador (Matchless Chieftain), JC Emerald (JCM800) and Wrecking Ball (Mesa Dual Rec Solo) prototypes done, next up is SBVT and Gondwana phase iii.

goddamnit 24 hours ago I thought I wanted to offload my Wrecking Ball and now I want this....

Also I have an Ambassador that I absolutely love (might be my favorite Sushi I’ve tried to far....at least for guitar) so I love to see you’re doing a an X version of that circuit.
