The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

So, Señor Sushi,
Does this seem like something you'd be interested in prototyping/exploring?
No offense but the Senor has a very full plate in development already - including the flagship Godwanna - rerecording the pedal demo's and whatever else he's got in his fertile mind that has yet to see the light of day . To do something like you suggest in a manner that has been passed over by most every other manufacturer [ likely for good reason ] seems like a stretch at best and probably better left for another day . My two cents .... Kelly

Sure, I think at the very least I can throw together a prototype to see what it sounds like and see if I think it deserves more development time.

Thanks Kelly, I am a generally busy person, and I'm not planning to start a bunch of new projects any time soon (though Gondwana will of course be getting a lot more attention soon), but I'm pretty good at prototyping, and throwing together a quick prototype design for something like this could probably be done in an hour or two. Obviously the result wouldn't be production-ready, and if I decide it's worth exploring further it would probably be at least a few months down the road to get a mature, releasable design. I am trying to slow down releases of new designs to make sure I don't release anything that has problems.

Hey Senor - Still can't say "no "- I see ... LOL - just figured I'd save you from yourself but we see how well that went ! Ah well - I tried .... Do want to hear the new slow single note section of pedal demo's though - hint - hint ..... Kelly
Yeah I recorded them forever ago and posted them to soundcloud, but they haven't made their way over to the website yet. It's on the to-do list :P

I'll work on adding those to the site today so Sushi can focus on pedals :) I'll post back when it's all published. I'm going to mess with pictures too and get any/all examples of Raw & Full Color uploaded

In the mean-time, you can go to SoundCloud directly and poke around:

EDIT: I had to use a TinyURL link to Soundcloud, because the TB editor kept trying to embed the soundcloud player instead of link to the generic playlists like I wanted.

Are there guitar demos for the JCEmerald?

Asking for guitar demos on a bass form?

BLASPHEMY!

Also...yeah @Sushi Box FX , and for King Nothing probably :D

Not yet, there will be. I plan to do the same thing on guitar as I did for bass, record something into the looper then run it through all of the preamps. Maybe in a week or two.

Oh @Sonicblaze I think I have more pictures that I haven't sent you yet, I'll have to take a look. There were a few pictures you asked for of things that I hadn't built yet, and I think I should have most if not all of them now.

Sonicblaze: Hey I need a picture of _ pedal in _ finish for the website.

Me: Hmm, I can't find a picture like that, guess I'm building another one.

Correct. One of these days I'll sit down and the math to figure out what frequency each position corresponds to, but alas I haven't done it yet.
have a idea of the range? Sounds good so far, using a resonant filter to wrangle some of the extreme lows and highs, but good so far

Would it be easier to run pink noise through it and analyze the response on a frequency graph? Send me one and we’ll see who finishes first. lol
So just reamp through the pedal and Daw? I was thinking about that earlier
