The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Flat should still be right around there, because that's basically where the filters are "bypassed," but the response obviously changes when you start turning knobs. Based on the Duncan Tone Stack Calculator it looks like 0-10-0 is flat. With all the knobs right in the middle there's a pronounced scoop around 450Hz, but with treble and bass cranked the mids knob adjusts around 290Hz. So it's not completely fixed, the three controls are a bit interactive.
Excellent, thanks. Those ranges are right around where I'd want a mid cut to be, especially if I'm running a boost in front

@Sushi Box FX did you post what the full color artwork for the Underground Accelerator looks like or did I miss it?
I haven't posted anything, I haven't finalized it yet. I really liked the artwork for London Underground, that was one of my favorites, so I'm thinking about maybe playing with the colors so it's easy to tell them apart and throwing the particle accelerator logo in there somewhere and recycling that one.

Excellent. The only suggestion I have would be to make the text more visible.

So a while ago I promised I would eventually have a JC Emerald in a super special one-of-a-kind finish that I didn't end up finishing in time to list with the others. Turns out it was literally 5 minutes from completion, so I threw it together tonight. So yes, full color print on top with black sides is possible. No it wasn't fun to do, and no I'm not doing it again.

Looking forward to you changing your mind and offering dark sides as an upgrade. You know it makes sense....

Another +1 for the MBD-2! I got one recently and I really like it. For thread relevance, it sounds great running into my Sushi LUPAX. ;)

Well I will agree...although I have a PAX but you know, close enough :)
The MDB-2 into the PAX is indeed spectacular and could very well be my new core sound (at least until I get an Underground Accelerator X to try!)

However, it's still got stiff competition from my Darkglass Vintage into a PA-Mini. The MDB into Mini-Pa does not sound as good, and the Darkglass into the PAX does not sound as good. I think the MDB into the PAX is so good because the PAX has a LOT less low end than the PA-Mini, and the MDB can deliver that low end to it. The Darkglass cannot (I have the small Vintage, not the Deluxe) add that low end so it sounds rather anenic into the PAX. But the PA-Mini has that huge bottom end so it sounds better with the Dargklass. But the MDB into the PA-Mini sounds bloated and garbled, like the two together are just too much low end. It's really two magical combos, but mixing/matching does not work :)

Interesting! I guess I got lucky then that I ditched my mini-LU and kept the -X.

I did the opposite! I traded my LUX for a LU Mini and it lives on my 'desk' board which goes to my PC for recording and practice. I much preferred the Minis, but now I don't know. It just really matters what comes before it.
