The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

I hope you are not putting off the Nuclear Assassinator (love that double ass) DI development, not like I really need another DI but other folks seem to be interested.

If I get one, I will cover up the last 9 letters.
ETA for the prototype boards is Tuesday.

Is that an Otter Pop wrapper in there? I love those things.
Yup, I found "Giant Otter Pops" at the store last week, they're like 3x the size of the regular ones. Pretty fantastic.

I've had the UV printer for a little less than a year now, and I FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO PRINT IN WHITE. Apparently I was missing some maintenance steps that was ruining the white ink, so I threw away the ink that was in the machine, flushed the lines and the print head, and put new ink in, et voila!

Damn, that looks awesome. I'd take that over the graphic anyday.

Not only just white but shouldnt that help other colors contrast better? Looks really good, nice and bright

Headmaster?
Greenhouse?
What is this electrical alchemy?
Headmaster - Dumble ODS preamp
Greenhouse - tube FX loop/blend

Oooo...is greenhouse going to be a tube-to-the-side instead of middle?

*maybe we need to make a "projects" page on the site with all the stuff being worked on
First iteration of Greenhouse will, it's going in a 1590BB (on account of needing 4 jacks) so the tube won't fit directly over the footswitch. Depending on how testing goes I may decide to go to two tubes for it, in which case it will have the typical tube-on-each-side setup.

Looking forward to your Greenhouse testing report!

Thanks - guess now the question should be “ what is the Greenhouse ?” Is it capable of a clean tube boost or is it more of a grit inducer ? Is the harmonic content accentuated by the circuit unlike the Westinghouse which seemed to be a pretty clean tube sweetener ? .... Kelly

None of the above. According to official sources the Greenhouse will be a "tube FX loop/blend thingy". It was discussed in this thread a couple weeks ago, you can probably find more specifics using the search functionality.

Really surprised I missed that discussion but I’ll do some searching . I think my question still stands though since “tubey loop / blend “ means little to me as a generic description . Maybe I just don’t know enough about pedals to make use of that info ! .... Kelly

Take a look at the block diagram in post #6940: as far as I recall that's the most detailed info about the Greenhouse that Sushi-San shared so far.

Ultra quick August batch update:

Almost there!
I have 20 pedals finished and ready to go, 4 pedals left to complete final assembly, and 2 that need troubleshooting. Of the 4 that need final assembly, 2 are waiting for enclosures to be fixed. Since the post office is closed today anyway I'm going to do what I can to get everything finished today so I can ship tomorrow.

Also I still haven't sent pictures of the violet sparkle (which I've nicknamed post-apocalyptic purple), I just finished taking the pictures and I will send them out today.
