The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

I'm shipping my Slampegg off to @scubaduba so he can add some clips of it to his awesome Tube Pre/DI thread. My in-depth review will have to wait but I figured clips are more important than words anyways.

Thanks in advance! @kranahan is a real good human being.

Hopefully it gets counted!
And a one, and a two

Would this be too much of a likeness? This is along the lines of what I've always wanted to do with a portaflex clone. Proportions are most definitely off but this is idea, black on black, or black with silver knobs/black collar knobs, Red LED, white imprint. OR a polished box, which would be amazing but beyond some work (not sure how these boxes buff down)

Well you're clearly WAY better at graphic design than I am, so I can send you a dxf of the hardware layout and you can design something around that if you want. I could totally do something like that.
So I recorded an awesome demo of my Wattson, and when I went to edit it, I found out my mic was off. Time for a redo...
I've been there. So many times.
I'd like to hear that too. The post office is playing pickle with my pedal, probably stuck in a ballot box somewhere
Right, I forgot to get back to you on that today. Looks like your pedal finally showed up around Jacksonville, so hopefully soon, but obviously USPS is as helpful as always and have no idea when it will actually get there.
Here's a very quick sample of my Wattson with a cabsim. More to come tomorrow

THAT SOUNDS SO GOOD. My only complaint is that it is WAY too short. I think the next demo should be at least 5 minutes to make up for it. In the meantime I'll be listening to that 7 second demo on repeat, thank you.

The one I had recorded today that I forgot to turn my mic on was 10 minutes. Oh well. Practice makes perfect I guess

So this isn't super exciting yet, but I got all the components placed on the Deep Dish Compressor (yup, that's the name I'm going with), just need to get them all connected now. I'm hoping to have layouts done for this and all the updated X Series pedals (PA and Slampegg are already done) by this weekend so I can get boards ordered and verify things so I can confirm they will be available in January.

Oh and those 20 pins next to "U5" in the middle near the bottom is going to be the LED bar for the gain reduction indicator and U5 is the driver for it. I'm not positive it will work as-is, but I made provision to disconnect it so it doesn't affect the circuit if it doesn't work on the prototype. But obviously I'm hoping it will work ;)

EDIT: looking at this picture I just realized I need to mvoe some components, they're going to get smashed by the tube mounts :P

Awesome! So the X series is good to go, in theory? By the looks of the prototype in the previous pics its going to be rad, cant wait! (I saw my package leaving Jax, thats typically the stop before mine, crossing fingers! Thanks for the help
