The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

I found this little fella shivering on my porch today. Naturally I brought him inside to warm up.

Maybe a dumb question, but is it possible to add the recording out from the Smoke Signal to other pedals? Like the Watson for example?
Not a stupid question, and totally possible. I like the way the recording output is done on therr, I want to try adding it to some things in the future.

Only 23hours in, and 32 spots have sold. Only 8 left for January!

Seems like I'm getting saved by the bell - or not exactly the bell, but German import customs. My SS is stuck somewhere and the tracking has not updated since Dec 06. I wanted to give that pedal a spin to see where I'm at, because too many options hinge on that.

It has the potential to become the centerpiece of my pedalboard, handling both the preamping and the dirt, which could leave me with one pedal less on my board. I might be totally happy with pedal GAS gone.
Or craving a Sashimi. Or wanting a Space heater, or Deep Dish or . . . . . . . .

If the spots for Jan are gone before my SS arrives, I'll have a while to figure that out.

If my meatsmoke pre is anything to go off of I think you will really dig t he smoke signal pre. The Deep dish is worth adding into the line up imho it was a pretty big upgrade to my tone overall it adds this extra heft to the mix that I can't live without. The Finally tube di having that LightningBoy Audio transformer might not be a bad option to have in the mix too I haven't tried it out to see but I'm definitely tempted

Hey, Boss Man, do I need-need a King Nothing or is it close enough that I'm covered? What do you use it with?
I use it on my guitar board. I'd say it's not the best choice for bass. You CAN use it on bass if you max out the low end (with the 3 position switch), but it's definitely not optimized for bass use. Which is fine, since I bought it to use on guitar anyway.

I'm leaning the same way for the Fluffy Kitten, tbh. It's workable on bass if you max out the Bass eq knob, but even then it's still a little shy in the low end and the tone stack is definitely optimized for guitar. It's gnarly though. LOTS of gain on tap and great singing sustain when you crank it up. Haven't actually tested it out on Guitar yet.

I was thinking I still want to try a Black Eye some day, but I suspect that it might cover at least least some of the same ground as the King Nothing.

Big thanks to @Kendescending for hooking me up with a Dr. Wattson. Got it last night and had fun playing around with it. I read on the @Sushi Box FX website there is an option to drop the output. How does one go about that? I plan on using this mostly as an always on clean tone enhancement.

I believe the version you have is 2.0, which has a resistor added to reduce the output. Version 3.0 has an internal trim pot to lower or increase output.

I know I am late to the party but.... WOW.... the Dr. Wattson exceeded expectations. Thanks to @Sushi Box FX for making such amazing gear. Also thanks to @Lammchop93 for the demo that clued me in to buy it. Side note the Limp Bizkit lick in that demo brought me back to my youth and I am sitting here playing it with my Warwick into the Dr Wattson grinning ear to ear. Cheers
