The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Umm, yeah, I know. Several pages ago when I was talking about how much I liked mine, and you said something to the effect of “it’s not really my sound”, I thought “well your sound sucks then”.

I’m kidding.

Kinda.

But in all seriousness, it is, in my opinion, an amazing sounding preamp for bass.

and I recall you as also being a fan of the BmaxT... that isn't good news for my wallet...

Thanks to the mod on my Little Bastard by @Sushi Box FX I can run DI into this powerful amp and feed two cabs 575watts or bridge around 1500watts and detonate a single cab!

Mmkay, unless you ordered a Sunnday Drive or Deep Dish, or asked me to hold your order, you should have received a shipping notice for January. If you didn't, please let me know and I can get you your tracking info.

Also, here's a neat dinosaur.

And boom, done testing. Everything passed with the exception of:
  • Deep Dish - audio was fine, need to fix lights
  • Sunnday Drive - prettty sure it's a bad switch, preamp works but bypass doesn't
  • @Sonicblaze's Echosaurus - I think I forgot to program it, sorry dude
So everything that is working will get boxed up and shipped now, and I'll circle back to the three that didn't afterward.
Just don’t send me @Sonicblaze pedal. I can’t wait to rock an Echosaurus! Haha, sorry.

So based on the number of responses I've gotten it's starting to look like maybe nobody got a shipping notice for January, so I'm looking into that. If you created an account on the website you should be able to go into your order and see it marked complete and see your tracking number, if not let me know your order number and I can send you the tracking.

i never got an email with a tracking number & i just logged in to my account/orders (Order #813) and it says completed & shipped but there's no tracking info for it.

Yeah, WooCommerce (the store product) is dumb like that. The shipping tool is built into the system itself, but heaven forbid you want to make that data public on the order page. There's a few other plugins that claim to do it, and not a single one has actually worked/integrated properly yet that didn't require you to literally copy/paste the exact same info into multiple other fields, instead of just reading the data about shipping that's already there

Very recently, I took on my first bass student. She's a veteran guitarist and singer and has an ear for sound design and tone, and told me she's a big fan of Ampeg-type sounds.

So, there may be an order for a Slampegg coming from the Atlanta area fairly soon lol

Also, I've been really enjoying the bit of "air" added to a P with flats via turning up the treble control on the PA. Due to the flats' lack of string noise, I can be pretty liberal with it, and it gives new dimension to both plucked and picked notes.

Meanwhile, I'm taking the PA on my baby board up to Greenville, SC tomorrow with my '60 P, which sporting the flats... and the Slampegg is chillin on my big board, which is getting use with a new cover band (that plays stuff like Scary Pockets, Tame Impala, Lake Street Dive, etc; it's fun).
