The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Please let us know when you have a change to compare it to the Finally. I'm very curious about how they each behave as a signal tuberizer, more-better-er.
The MORE is in the place formerly held by my Finally as it happens and as a clean tube boost it brings a certain Jenny in Sequins or je ne sais quoi that is quite nice but the Finally can get a bit more saturated. I'm still casting my ear on the MORE and it looks like I may have a couple of chances to put it to test on some other reference systems and get opinions from other educated listeners soon.

@dedpool1052 & @NKBassman our tube fiend @Sushi Box FX has created yet another tasty pedal to add to our combo plates of sonic mayhem. The MORE is that extra ting-tangy warm and gooey tube goodness that is next to impossible to describe but once your ear experiences a taste you must always add it ala carte`. On it's own it is a warm transparent boost but give it something to work with and it just makes it MORE. As our Cajun friend Justin Wilson might say it makes things More Better.

Damn.

Another pedal added to the list.

I'd love to try the More in tandem with the DW.

August update:

I'm still in the process of printing up some shipping labels, but everything is finished and ready to ship except the HWDW and Finally, both of which I'm on track to finish tomorrow night.

September update:

There will be a September batch. Finishes will be limited to raw/full color, raw/simple, and "dealer's choice" where I pick a powder color for the month. I haven't decided what it will be yet, but I'll try to make it exciting. I'm planning to open ordering Saturday night, I will of course let everyone here know first.

Mr Sushi, would you please stop tempting me?
I am quite satisfied with my pedal board as is, but ordering another Sushi pedal just to get the first dealer's choice colored pedal is something that I somehow want :-)

Question for Mr. Sushi:

How’s the Smoke Signal Mk 2 coming along? Any chance of basing one of the channels on the Doc Wattson?

Thanks!
Smoke Signal Mk 2 is still floating around my brain, it hasn't made its way into a solid design yet. I'm definitely considering basing the dirt channel on the Dr. Wattson and tbe clean channel on either Underground Accelerator or Elementary (Dr. Wattson clean pre, I promise I'll get demos soon).

DW and UA are consistently among the better selling pedals I make, so a two-channel pedal that covers both sounds seems like it would be a win. I have a couple selfish projects for myself on the bench right now that keep getting put off, I'd like to get those wrapped up and then Smoke Signal will move up to top priority.

I feel like it would need a new name.
At that point neither of the voicings would have much to do with either of the Smoke Signal's original Channels...
Very true. I've been keeping the Smoke Signal name despite changing the circuit mostly because I like the name and coming up with a solid catchy name is tricky. But I'll ask for suggestions when I figure out what's going to be inside it.

I vote to keep it as the Smoke Signal. Sick name and the full color art is IMO one of your best

The new More I received a few days ago is making a noticeable hum with the knob at the 3 o'clock position. I'm running it on its own 9v wall wart power supply, with no other pedals, straight into my Ampeg combo amp. I didn't notice this the first couple of times using it, although I didn't have it turned up this much I don't think. Anyone else experience this?

How much current does your wall wart provide?

Something I've been wondering since the introduction of the UA with tone stack bypass @Sushi Box FX

If the goal is just to add some clean fat tubey goodness to the chain, what is the best choice?

UA w/tone bypassed
More
Finally

Other than the obvious (like the finally having DI) how do those differ?
