It's not in the list of features, but any chance the Furthermore will have a tone stack bypass? A UA and SS III in front of a Furthermore would really be everything I would want.

i agree. i had both and was able to compare them side by side, and kept the HW version.
I haven't really decided. I did the SMD version in the HW form factor with the tube on the side as that setup lends itself better to proper layout, so I may be able to squeeze a HW version in there, but I'm not sure yet. I can take a swing at a preliminary fit check tomorrow (Monday) to at least see if it would be feasible to get all the parts in there.
Maybe? I don't know, Furthermore is all still theoretical at this point. It's a loose collection of ideas that I haven't forced myself to solidify yet. Like I know what I want it to be eventually, but it's going to take some work to really get there in a way that I can be proud of.
So speaking of Elementary, I just opened ordering for October. Elementary is the only new addition, and Space Heater has been removed. Everything else is the same for now.

Hi @Sushi Box FX, I have a couple questions. I've been using the UA as my mild dirt and it's been working for me. I've been considering the Dr. W but currently don't have the room for it on my board. Will the Elementary get a little dirty but not too light to where it would get lost in the mix?

I think "a little dirty but not too light" is a pretty accurate description of Elementary's gain characteristics. As a guitarist I would consider it a nice "crunch" tone. Heavier than UA, but not overbearing. The Elementary picture on the website is the raw enclosure with full color artwork.
Dealer's choice for October: for those that like being surprised the hint is "red", for those that don't like being surprised the color is
I guess one more question, you said guitarist above and making sure this has the bottom end I need for bass. I know the Dr103 was popular on both sides but want to be sure this is bass centric before I spring for it.
Yup, Elementary definitely keeps the low end rumble of Dr. Wattson. It has the same low frequency response as UA, which means if a guitarist were to use it they would probably keep the bass knob pulled WAY back.
Almost wish I hadn't pulled the trigger on the Barefaced BBIII. Spent all my play monies.

Thanks Nathan, thought so but wanted to be 100%. Now the hard choice of the raw full color or the dealers choice...
Looks like I had forgotten to set up shipping on Elementary when I made the page for it so the website wasn't letting anyone check out. I just fixed it, should be good to go now.
Prototype circuit boards are on their way, looks like they should be here tomorrow. I will of course keep everyone posted on that.
To chime in about Elementary: it's fantastic.
It has a good amount of headroom but has a very pleasing breakup past 11 depending on the bass; after 3 oclock, its too much for me. When it goes, it goes fast, so I have kept it between 11-1 almost exclusively, but there are more than enough great sounds in that range. So far the ONLY issue I've had is the inability to boost the mids; that's exactly how the preamp was designed though, so that's on me... My solution is to use the mids-bump on my compressor.
Playing through it with a Mustang wound with flats, my favorite, bar none. Turning it off is a crime. Nothing else to say besides how amazing it sounds. Playing a p bass with old half-rounds sounds good through it, but I like the Slampegg a lot better for some reason; I need A/B them some more and see what's going on. A MM knockoff (similar where it matters...) with Labella flats sounds really great though Elementary: the headroom is needed vs the Slampegg with this bass particularly, but the bite it has when digging in is still really fitting. No loss of low end at all, and the lack of a mids control when using a MM is far from a problem.
I am really not looking forward to giving this thing back... I sadly do not have a UA to compare it against, but vs the Slampegg, this is a very different pedal and I really enjoy it in a lot of scenarios. Still have yet to figure out which fits best in the mix with my band, but I have a feeling I would be leaning on Elementary more.
Next step is to buy a Boss LS-2 and use both at the same time!!
