For your own sanity, "don't go there". It is a small, very fragmented market.
Im just spitballin’ here… but if he wants to make a really cool DB centric pedal that offers me something amazing that no one else does… who am I to stop him?

That wasn't my direct intention, though it may be something that happens eventually. I would have to find a pretty slamming deal on an upright to make it worth my while though I think. Until then I can lean on people in the community that already have them around.Im just spitballin’ here… but if he wants to make a really cool DB centric pedal that offers me something amazing that no one else does… who am I to stop him?

I'm super close. I was waiting on circuit boards for HWUA, HW Slampegg, HWLR, and Glass Butterfly, all of which arrived yesterday. I was also waiting on transformers for Finally, which arrived today. How are December's shipments going?

i didn’t mean finally, i meant furthermore.the finally will be very useful for me.. and the LPF before everything may well be the best way.
i’m 80% upright and i also play a ‘63 fender bass.
I'd recommend the HPF (to clean up the bottom end) at the beginning of Furthermore's chain, and the LPF (to clean up high frequency noise and such) near the end.
Would the same HPF position apply to a Slampegg or UA pedal?
HPFs are generally used at the beginning of bass pedal chains to reduce boominess before adding other effects and tone handling.
Or….. HPFs are generally used at the end of bass pedal chains to maximize speaker protection/ optimization. Also true.HPFs are generally used at the beginning of bass pedal chains to reduce boominess before adding other effects and tone handling.

Which one is it? First or last...

As always it comes down to opinions* and in the real world what works best in each situation.OK, there seems to be different answers so, I guess I will have to experiment!
