Did you try playing with recorded music? IMO it’s easier to notice the nuances in the mix.

I always thought the mix hid the nuances. I will try it tomorrow and see what happens...
”Nuances” wasn’t maybe the best choice of words. I’ll replace it with ”tubey goodness”.
The reason I really love these pedals is that I am 95% of the time a finger player, only using a pick on 3-4 songs. SushiBox pedals allow me to have a pick sound/tone by digging in with my fingers, by backing off I still get the fingrtstyle sound/tone.

With all my Sushi Box pedals, I've found that you have to push the Gain slightly more than you think if you want to get the "tubey-ness".
If you're curious to hear my theory on why, I made a post back on page 743 explaining it.

I run my HW UA gain at approximately 1:30 / 2pm and it gives up the smooth natural breakup when I dig in. It is nice and clean and bouncy when I pick normally. I ran my SMT Slampegg at 11am, and it had a similar breakup-via-dig sound. I run all passive basses fyi

I still have plenty to do to keep myself busy, but every now and then I need to take some time for myself.
As much as I like those, that second one is off-putting.
Klon based looks, but not Klon based at all.
RE is solid as a base.
Silver print/script would be better, IMHO.
Alas my printer can't handle metallic inks, but I do have another one of these in progress that will be the Prismatic Cosmos powdercoat with white printing instead of red.
I know this has probably been covered a million times, but what’s the cheapest/easiest way to power 3 pedals, one of which is the Slampegg X? I am very green on that subject. Will a onespot daisy chain work?
A daisy chain is always the cheapest and never the best because there's a significant risk of nasty noise. What are the other 2 pedals?......their power requirements will be critical in determining the cheapest "good" way forward.
Yeah, I’ve been told isolated is the best. It’s just hard to swallow the $100+ price for power. The other two for now are a Walrus Badwater and Darkglass Hyper Luminal. I believe 9v and 250-300ma each.
Think of it as an investment in your sound. You're just a little shy of $1k in pedals... $100 is pretty minor when it comes to good power. I've got three different Cioks power supplies. It was tough to pull the trigger on the first, because it didn't add anything overt or obvious to my audio chain. However now that I've been using them for a few years I really see the benefit in decent power supplies (no matter what the brand). They're dependable, consistent, easy to mount, adaptable, and I know I can always sell them if I go another route later on.
No need to break the bank. This will work better and neater than a daisy chain and will easily run all 3 (and more if desired):

For Slampegg + tuner/mute + one effect, probably fine.
Start adding a string of other stuff, isolating power feeds avoids potential problems.
I do both.
