Finally is brilliant in the studio, I have not used it live but many here do and have had great results. The xlr output is from a transformer therefore at a mic level, @Sushi Box FX uses the excellent
@lightningboy audio transformer and some early models might have the Jensen transformer.
There are several types if DI outs, too many assume that if it is an xlr that is will be mic level, many amps and effects are much higher at line level. This is what leads to issues with clipping and unwanted noise. This is not an error as those devices have a line level output for interfacing with professional level live or studio mixers, for driving powered speakers or other devices.
