The Space Heater and Finally circuits are largely the same, so I think that would be a tad redundant. If you wanna up the tubey goodness factor, the More is probably a good shout, but it would involve you still using the Radial DI.

The Space Heater and Finally circuits are largely the same, so I think that would be a tad redundant. If you wanna up the tubey goodness factor, the More is probably a good shout, but it would involve you still using the Radial DI.
Welcome to the SBFxSS. Your Radial is fine unless you feel the need for another DI choice. I use my Redial JDI about as much as my other DI boxes especially for live as no one tries to abscond it and they are nearly bullet proof. If you do want more tube richness a MORE might be a wonderful addition, I would place it as far back in your signal path as possible since it is great goody clean gain and offers much improvement. Use the SH to dial in your desired tube saturation, like spice we all have the just right amount.

For those keeping score I'm down 70+ pounds this year.
I may consider doing a batch of these headphone amps for sale if there's enough interest, but the deluxe integrated headphone stand is probably just going to be a NAMM exclusive.

@Sushi Box FX what's the 3-way switch positions on the Lab Rat exactly? I have read on the Lab Rat page what they are, but I don't know which position is which. I do like the bottom-most position though, it sounds the fuzziest even if it's the thinnest bass-wise.
Also - to beg the other Sushiheads a bit in here again - what's peoples' experiences with an upright going into a More? How does that affect the sound?

Bottom position - silicon diode clipping
Middle position - op-amp clipping (no diodes)
Top position - LED clipping
For me the More was best after a preamp, in my case I ran it in the FX loop of an Acoustic Image Clarus SL. I've had better luck getting Sushi Box tube compression goodness from the Slampegg and the Elementary as my primary input.

Damn. I would be interested. The one I use uses rare tubes and are getting harder to find, but unfortunately the yen is tanking. The slampegg was supposed to be one of the last things I was going to order from abroad, but who knows......

This is what I was wondering exactly, as I'm running my Slampegg through the FX loop for both my upright and electric. I was wondering if a More might sound better as a middle ground solution for both in the FX loop, but I'll have to do some experimenting. I had seen you said you enjoyed the Elementary over the UA for upright; I'm finding that the Slampegg really adds a nice glow to the low mids on electric bass (I tend to run EQs flat on pretty much everything out of habit), but tends to accentuate the low mids/high bass on upright washing out the note clarity a bit. More experimentation/road testing needed to see what else I can get out of the Slampegg.
They're not cheap to build (did I mention hi-fi output transformers?), they would probably have to be around $500.
I think the More is what you’re looking for! My violin player pal uses a More on his fly rig right before the DI on his pickup channel and it’s amazing sounding.
Full disclosure, I have maybe the last custom Elementary Nathan made and it has a 5.6Mohm input (same as the Slampegg) and a 12AT7 NOS tube in it. It runs into the preamp section of the Clarus with minimal to no EQ which gives me another gain stage, hpf, and a really nice DI. For a stage rig this is my favorite by far!

that sounds like a very reasonable price based on what it looks like you have there.
Yeah it seems like a lot for a headphone amp, but considering it's an all-tube headphone amp with a frequency response that goes down to 25Hz, I feel like it's not terrible. The price would also cover the power supply, as this unfortunately has too high of a current draw for a Cioks (1200mA at 12V).
It's technically designed to be able to run in stereo, not just bridged mono like a lot of headphone amps, but for the purpose of NAMM demos I have these wired for a mono input. So if anyone wanted a stereo input (not sure how useful that is on bass) it would be a simple mod.
On a wildly unrelated note, I ordered new business cards and they talked me into getting a new mousepad as well.
That sounds like a perfect use case for an external hard drive power supply (center positive). I've got boxes full of those things.
