Found this mug at my old work:

And you apparently got rid of your $1 bill. I had several left unspent after doing a bunch of work in Calgary and Edmonton back in the '80s when I worked for Amoco (now BP). Many years later, I used one to pay the toll coming out of the airport in Halifax. The toll booth lady gave me $19.25 in change. I just waited and then heard an "OMG" and laughter. I handed $19 back and kept the $0.25. She said that she hadn't seen a $1 bill in years and the color looked like a $20. I told her that I had several more and asked if she would exchange them for loonies. She did, and that's the end of my Canadian $1 bill story. :roflmao:
Good story.

We also got rid of the $2 bill. There was talk of getting rid of the nickel... but it seems to have petered out.

So the other cat I've been neglecting to feature. His name is Chowzer, he is a feral cat that had lived in the neighborhood for 15 years outdoors the whole time. I've been entrusted to care for him after my neighbors who were caring for him, moved to the coast. He's been on his own all this time so he is unpettable and won't come inside, until today...
