Hey guys,
I'm thinking about picking up this Valenti that's in the classifieds:

...and I'm looking for opinions from the Valenti experts on whether you think it's a fair price and/or any other input you may have.
This has a lot of the features I've been looking for (passive, 5 string, light weight, maple board, etc.), so I'm hoping it works out.

It's definitely a cool bass, provided that you understand and dig its design - which you clearly do.
Personally, I'm a little wary of people who go out of their way, multiple times in the case of this ad, to describe a sale as "final" and the item as "non returnable". It occurs to me that they may be aware of a problem with the item they are selling, avoiding disclosing it, and hoping to hide behind their "final sale" warnings when the buyer discovers it. At least, if I were considering that bass I would ask why the seller is so clear about the non return policy and see if he will document that there are no undisclosed issues.
Thanks guys, that's all valuable input. I'm going to contact the seller tonight since I have a few questions.

For $1100, it's a steal! Get it before someone else snags it. I'd get it myself but 1. I'm broke, and 2. I like J's.
