The Valenti Megathread Part III

Hey guys... will more than likely be joining the club soon. Planning on an early february order. :hyper:
Quick question though... and maybe Nino can answer this. Excuse my ignorance but can somebody explain to me what an edge radius is. It is the last detail I am trying to decide on for this order.
I am leaning towards a Vintage Modern 5 string J (VMJ5). This seems to be the most popular style based on the recent builds on the site. What is the standard edge radius on those basses. I would just click on the link to see the differences on the Valenti page but the link is not working

The Edge Radius is the round over on the edge of the body. 1/4" is rounder and 3/16" is sharper. Standard Edge Radius on Modern basses is 1/4".

Here are 2 VMJ4's with a 3/16" edge radius.

Well My new Valenti # 104 was waiting for me when I got home last night:hyper: Look at post above for pics.

Nino is truly a CRAFTSMAN! The fit, finish, setup are perfect right out of the box. Plugged it in with about a 10% bump on the bass control, treble set flat and this bass has tone for days!!!:bassist::bassist::bassist: Even my wife came in the room and commented on how great it sounded.

Thank You Nino for building such a great Bass!!! I am going to enjoy playing this for years to come.:bassist:

This has been said before but I will say it again, if anyone is on the fence about buying a Valenti, don't worry, Nino builds a great instrument and you will not be disappointed at all.
