The Valenti Megathread Part IV

swzbdc.jpg

#138 is in my Hot Little Hands! I was able to reherse with it, but the climate change did a number on the relief on the neck. But after 3 clicks tighter on the truss rod, and a brief intermission to allow things to settle, I was back in Bussiness! I'm not a Huge fan of PJ basses, but with the reverse P pickup, and the balance rolled to where the Bridge pickup starts to come through, there is a Very Good Jazz tone. Plays like a dream, and at just over 8 Lbs, this is going to give the Dolphin 5er a run at being my "Go-To" bass!

I'M freakin gassing for a straight vintage 4 string valenti p bass.

You should buy one then. :)

Yeah, makes for some interesting shades under the lights. Brown, Purple, Blue. Sometimes even Black!

You'd be 3rd in line, not likely to be any time soon though...

That bass looks right at home, my friend!

Thought I'd say "Hi" just joined the Valenti club with awesome No 159. Nino excelled on that one...

That is a KILLER color combo!
