Alright, here is #146 that I purchased from Adam Wright. I have wanted a Valenti for a long time and after taking some time off of playing to go to graduate school, I decided to place an order with Nino for a sort of "graduation present" to myself. Alas, I couln't wait any longer and this bass popped up so I jumped on it. I am very impressed with the quality, worksmanship and overlal craft of the instrument and now I really can't wait to get my custom order. The finish is stunning although I didn't think I would like the white/black pg combo it really works. The transwhite leaves the natural color of the ash grain to come through makining it appear more cream colored. Oh, and the MOP blocks are absolutely beautiful in person, not like the mother of toilet seat blocks I am used to seeing. The bass sports Aggie 70s wind single coils and is passive. I am going to drop a Sadowsky pre in it and try to dial in a solid Marcus Miller tone.
My custom order should be ready soon. It sports a full size J body, Nordy PJs (J in the 79s) and Aggie obp-3. Sherwood green with maple and black blocks. Together, they will be a great pair.
So here is #146. It also has a tort guad too, but I like the way black looks.

Looks like #154 is going to a new home. I really wish I would've ordered it as a 4 string. It's a LOVELY bass.
