The Valenti Megathread Part IV

Proud to announce that I've finally (after, what, 4 years?) got my second Valenti.

For anyone wondering, I was going for a combination of two basses owned by Geddy Lee.

First, his Number One with its post-Time Machine tour neck:

Second, his vintage '59 P Bass, as seen and heard on "Roll the Bones" from the R40 live album:

This guy has a Nordstrand NP4.

I opted for the A3 for my upcoming build.

Is there an option for the NP4v? I'm not sure. I'm guessing the A5. It feels and sounds like a perfect P bass pickup to me.

The Alnico V magnets are standard on these pickups also. You have to specify Alnico III t get them.

Verrazzano Series V21-J5

• Alder body w/ maple neck
• Rosewood Fretboard
• Satin Shell Pink finish
• Hipshot B bridge (will opt for an "L" bridge if available)
• 18mm spacing at bridge
• Aguilar Super Single pickups
• Aguilar OBP-1 preamp w/ VTC

Haven't decided on what color pickguard I'll go with. Right now I'm leaning toward tort but may change my mind before it gets to me.

What does everyone think? Any p/g color suggestions?
