No need, no need :p you're a fellow Brit aren't you! How hard did you find getting the Valenti over here? I hope the customs charges weren't too bad?

So easy I bought another 2 off Nino, customs was alright and all in all the basses work out quite cheap for us brits.

I highly recommend Nino if you are in the Europe and want one of these high quality basses the man is like the Elvis of Shipping :p

I have to ask....how did youu get that 5+0 headstock neck with 24 frets instead of the usual 22?

Keep on buildin' Nino.
At that time, I was using Warmoth and they only offered a 5 inline headstock. The 5 inline necks is still an option at Warmoth:

24 frets is an option on Warmoth necks but I don't recommend it. It's a long extension that goes into the body and it's pretty hard to reach the last 2 frets.

The 24 fret extension is not as dramatic on a 5 string as it is on the 4 string pictured on their site.

thanks for the info,Nino..one day I might own one made by you.:D :D

Got any TB discount? :D:confused: :D

Still loving #027.
The neck is EXCELLENT and was hard to pry out of my techs hands the first time he set it up.

My only complaint is when at full volume in passive mode there is too much output which makes no sense to me. It will distort any amp. Replacing batteries makes no difference. Turning down the volume a hair removes the distortion.
I've been talking with my tech and he suggests putting the active/passive circuit on the Jpup and leave the Ppup full time passive since I'malways wanting more low end on the Jpup and less on the Ppup. Hopefully that will change "something" for the better in both ways.

When he's back from tour thats what we will try.

Thanks for the bass.. I want another P/J 5.

I am finally part of group #1. I bought the P-bass from fretless5verfan. (#39) I looooooooooove this bass!!!!!!!

Yep that bass was killer at tombowlus' GTG. Loved every second of playing it but I had to put it down quick otherwise I would have bought it and you wouldn't be owning it right now. :ninja:

Oh and I'm in #3, but #2 is coming soon. I just cannot decide what kind of Valenti I want.
