The Walking Dead Series 2

Zombies are really just slowly decomposing to begin with, but who knows how long it would actually take, and odds are, they'd still be "mobile" to some extent, even if it meant crawling on the grounds.

This is exactly why I want to know how the whole group could not smell all of the decomposing flesh in the barn.

Granted, the whole world, or at least Atlanta, probably smells terrible, but there were quite a few acres of open air on the farm.
(Not that this makes much of a difference since that part is all through...)

Watched the latest episode finally. Can't wait for Sunday!

One of the themes of the last episode was surely 'hope'--whether you should give up on it, change your way of thinking, or in Daryl's case, be angry that you tried to believe Sofia was alive but what you believed in was dashed to bits. It's like if you're on a desert island and wonder if you're going to be rescued. It keeps people alive.

Good episode. Hopefully they find what's-her-face's flipped car on the drive back to the farm instead of dragging it out.

Anyone remember how pissed Daryll was?

I mean the time spent on the farm showed us he had a softer side to him. Now he feels like he wasted his time. I think deep down he actually thought he was gonna find Sofia.

No kidding. I don't want to watch 6 episodes of Lori trying to get back to the farm...

Also, I think the actor who plays her does good, but the character sucks.

Shane is cool. He's the one I'd want on my side.

More importantly though, how many of you noticed the first few bars of 'The Regulator' by the mighty CLUTCH played as the outtro, just after Rick wasted the two drifters? This show has now gone to the top of the cool scale :)

Shane is not cool, Titus. He is a putz. Darryl is cool.

Darryl is my favorite pending further episodes. I'm a fan of Dale too.

Nope. Darryl is Merle-lite.

Shane made sure he was still getting some. With two ladies, no less. He'd pull a gun on his own grandmother as soon as she got bitten, if he had to.

Screw that. Shane will shoot you if you both were being chased and almost out of ammo. Shane is not cool.

He's a...[DEL]douche[/DEL] jerk.

Oh please. He's only acting like this because he's heartsick over that complete tool and now resents her husband, the poor poor thing. I don't buy the performance, either. It seems to me that the actor is trying too hard.

Darryl isn't Merle Lite, either. He's Merle-with-a-heart. He's the only character on the show who seems 100% genuine.

Yeah I'm just yanking your chain, Darth :)

Darryl is cool! Rick is the putz though, for me.

Yeah, I was blown away (pun intended) by that. I think he did it to show the other guys what he was willing to do to protect his family and clan, and maybe even a way to show the old man that he was worthy of staying on the farm. Those strangers did not seem too cool.

Actually, I rewatched it & the Tru Blood/Terriers guy did go for his gun. It was pretty quick.
